There is growing pressure for a paradigm shift in development cooperation, due to rapid changes in both the domestic and international environments. KCOC, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, set out to analyze the conditions for international development cooperation and revisit its achievements and shortcomings towards identifying tasks for mid- to long-term Strategy (2020-2030).
As Korea’s leading nongovernmental platform for international development cooperation, KCOC is committed to enhancing the competency, trust, and allianceof the IDC ecosystem toward strengthening civil society’s capabilities to participate in it, its accountability and its effectiveness. To these ends, KCOC will further partnership with IDC actors at all levels (governments, civil society, academia and businesses), increase public awareness and participation, and promote growth of the IDC ecosystem. KCOC is ready to start the new future of development cooperation with a stronger alliance and greater cooperation.
